PSUAC Names 34 Brandywine Student-Athletes To All-Academic Team

MEDIA, Pa. -- A total of 34 Penn State Brandywine student-athletes representing the baseball, softball, men’s basketball and women’s basketball teams were named to the Penn State University Athletic Conference All-Academic Team on Wednesday.

To receive the award, student-athletes must post a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 during their semester of competition or own a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Overall during the 2015-16 academic year, 76 Brandywine student-athletes were honored as 42 were awarded during the fall, up from a total of 65 who earned the distinction last year.

Leading the way were the two-time PSUAC champion softball team and the women’s basketball squad, which both produced 10 honorees. Nine members of the Brandywine baseball team were honored, while men’s basketball had five student-athletes earn all-academic accolades.
