Previti, Sesay Earn PSUAC Weekly Awards
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pennsylvania -- Penn State Brandywine senior Nick Previti was selected as
the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week,
while junior Nabieu Sesay earned the
league’s player of the week award on Tuesday.
Sesay and Previti helped lead the Lions to their first victory of
the season, a 9-1 triumph over Penn State Wilkes Barre on
Friday.
Making his third appearance of the season, Previti made seven
saves to earn the victory in goal. He owns a 2.95 goals-against
average and 14 saves during nearly 244 minutes between the pipes
this fall.
Sesay compiled a career-high five goals, including four during the
first half, in the win over Wilkes Barre. He registered seven shots
on goal, while upping his career goal total to 12.
Penn State Brandywine closes out a three-game homestand on
Wednesday when facing Centenary (N.J.) at 4:00 pm.
