Ridley prduct Joe Samohod pitched seven innings of one-run baseball, striking out five, as the Penn State Brandywine baseball team earned a 4-2 victory over Penn State Beaver in the first game of a PSUAC doubleheader.
Brian Bosco, Gabe Encarnacion and Jim Murphy each provided a hit and a run. Matt DeBarberie had a single and two RBIs in the opener. DeBarberie added two singles and two runs in game two for the Brandywine Lions.
Brandywine Baseball is scheduled to return to their home field on Thursday, March 28 against Williamson Trade in a doubleheader starting at 2 PM.
