Brandywine continues their playoff run behind Samohod’s gem

State College, PA -- Brandywine faced off against Penn State Beaver, looking to come away with a win to continue their playoff run.  After scoring a run in the first inning, Brandywine's bats' came alive in the third inning, scoring three more runs to put them on top 4-0.  Samohod pitched seven shut down innings for Brandywine, allowing them to score their winning run in the first inning.  Although Samohod did not score any strikeouts on the game, he was able to withhold a single run from Beaver on seven hits.

RBI's were scored by Jimmy Quinn, Gabe Encarnacion, and Matt deBarberie.  Brandywine will now face Penn College again to decide who will face off in the PSUAC Championship game against Penn State Allegheny.
