Brandywine's Bench Comes up Big

The Penn State Brandywine Men's Basketball team improved their conference record to 8-4 and ½ game back from first place in the PSUAC South Division after Tuesday's 71-61 win at divisional rival Penn State Mont Alto.  Brandywine's bench led the way in scoring as sophomores Vince Mostardi and Brandon Jacquette tallied 17 points apiece.   PSUAC Player of the Week Rasheed Wilkins had a good all-around performance with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 8 steals.  Brandywine's defense forced 21 turnovers while the offense shot 74% from the charity stripe including key free throws down the stretch to seal the ten point win.  Brandywine travels to Penn State Hazelton (9-3 PSUAC) , who is in first place in the PSUAC North Division, on Saturday 2/4/12 for a showdown of two of the top teams in the conference.
