Rasheed Wilkins scores his 1,000 point.

Rasheed Wilkins has been keeping track of total points for the past two years, counting down until he reached 1,000 points. Wilkins can stop counting! He reached this milestone last night in the last regular home game for Penn State Brandywine in 2012.

Wilkins was two points shy of this achievement before tip off and he knew that this was his night. The clock was beating down on 12 minutes remaining in the first half when Wilkins drove the net, stopped short and drained an in the paint jumper. Play stopped and Wilkins was honored for this incredible achievement of 1,000 points in two seasons. Always humble, he accepted the game ball, nodded his head and got right back on the court. "There's more scoring to do and 2,000 to reach for," Wilkins said after the game.

It was Brandywine's night as they came out on top of Penn State New Kensington 95-83.
Mike McGlynn totaled 20 points, five rebounds and two steals. Sophomore, Brandon Jacquette added another 20 points.

Brandywine is on the road this coming week advancing to the PSUAC playoffs.
