NEW YORK, N.Y. -- The Penn State Brandywine men's basketball team dropped a 90-64 decision at Vaughn College on Monday, the Lions' fourth consecutive loss.
Isaiah Wilmore (Philadelphia, Pa./Ben Franklin) led Brandywine (2-10) with 23 points and nine rebounds, while Cyrie Spencer (Sharon Hill, Pa./Academy Park) added 11 points and eight boards.
Brandywine was held to 30 percent shooting (19-62) and allowed Vaughn to shoot nearly 42 percent from the field. The Warriors posted four players in double-figure scoring, led by Kevin Vanderpool, who netted 20 points and pulled in 10 rebounds.
Vaughn used an early 12-0 run to build an 11-point edge and expanded the lead to 23 points by halftime. The Warriors held a 20-point advantage for nearly the entire second half.
Brandywine returns to conference play on Friday with an 8:00 pm home game against Penn State DuBois.
