Brandywine Places 10th At Ursinus Invitational

POTTSTOWN, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine golf team competed in the Ursinus Invitational at Raven's Claw Golf Club on Wednesday afternoon, finishing 10th in a field of NCAA Division III teams.

The Lions were led by Chris Deleo (West Chester, Pa.) who completed his round in 98 strokes to finish in 30th place.

Margaret Reynolds (West Chester, Pa./Westtown School) posted a round of 101, tying for 23rd in the 40-golfer women's field.

Also competing for Brandywine was David Delloso (Morton, Pa.), who carded a round of 114 and Dan Nearey (Aston, Pa./Sun Valley), who shot 118, while Jake Shane (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) rounded out the Lions with a round of 120.

Brandywine will return to University Park for its second PSUAC Invitational of the season Monday on the University's Blue Course beginning at 10:00 am.
