Brandywine Rounds Outs Regular Season At PSUAC Invitational

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine golf team completed the regular-season portion of its schedule on Monday morning at the second Penn State University Athletic Conference Invitational of the fall on the University's Blue Course.

Brandywine finished 12th overall with a team score of 396 strokes. Hazleton defeated Schuylkill in a tiebreaker to claim the team championship.

Colin Shane (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) paced the Lions by shooting an 18-hole score of 91. David Delloso (Morton, Pa.) carded a 97, while Chris Deleo (West Chester, Pa.) shot 99.

Rounding out Brandywine was Dan Nearey (Aston, Pa./Sun Valley), who totaled 109 shots and Jack Bell (Chichester, Pa.), who completed his round in 122 strokes.

Brandywine will be idle until the PSUAC/USCAA Championships begin with the first round on October 7 in State College.
