Brandywine Defeats Scranton In Dual Match

SCRANTON, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine golf team defeated Penn State Scranton in a dual match at Panorama Golf Club on Sunday afternoon.

Brandywine shot a four-man score of 330 strokes, while Scranton compiled a team total of 373 strokes.

Leading the way individually for Brandywine was Brady Foytack (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East), who was the low scorer on the afternoon with a round of 79.

Zak Karlton (Oxford, Pa./Oxford) shot a round of 80, while Matt Cavanaugh (Drexel Hill, Pa./Bonner-Prendie) carded an 81. Ty Coccia (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) rounded out the Lions with a round of 90.

Brandywine will be back in action at the FDU-Florham Invitational on Monday afternoon, weather permitting.
