Karlton Tabbed As USCAA Golfer Of The Week

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine senior Zak Karlton (Oxford, Pa./Oxford) was named United States Collegiate Athletic Association Golfer of the Week on Tuesday.

Karlton was the runner-up at the 43-man Penn State Mont Alto Invitational on Sept. 13 after shooting a round of 76. He led Brandywine to a second-place finish in the team standings.

Two days earlier, Karlton matched a Brandywine team record by shooting a career-low round of 75 at the season-opening Penn State University Athletic Conference Invitational where he finished in fourth place.

Karlton owns seven top-10 finishes during his career, including the two this fall. He was an All-PSUAC Second Team standout in 2022 when he placed 12th at the PSUAC Championship.
