Brandywine soccer had their first home game against non-conference Delaware Valley College and found itself playing a hard fought defensive battle. Sam Houllette, Manny Weldemicael and Michael Clapp played a powerful defensive game; unfortunately, one goal was able to sneak past our defense and goal keeper Nick Previti. Our boys out shot Del Val, but were unable to capitalize on their opponents goalie who constantly had to make heroic saves and came away with a 1-0 victory.
Brandywine next travels to Wilkes Barre to try to go undefeated in conference play this Saturday at 2pm.
