Bill Walleekendeh Lands PSUAC Player Of The Week Honors

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine senior Bill Walleekendeh (Chester, Pa./Chester) earned Penn State University Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the second time this fall on Wednesday.

Walleekendeh led Brandywine to a pair of victories last week, scoring five times in a 7-1 win over Penn State Schuylkill and adding two more scores in a 3-1 triumph at Williamson.

The national leader in goals, Walleekendeh has produced 34 goals and five assists for 73 points. He has recorded multi-goal performances in seven of the team's last eight games, including a pair of school-record, six-goal outings.

Walleekendeh, Brandywine's all-time points leader with 222 and a two-time all-American, needs two goals to reach 100 for his career.

Brandywine (9-1, 5-0 PSUAC) continues its five-game road swing at Penn State York on Wednesday at 4:00 pm.
