Riebman Lands Third PSUAC Player Of The Week Selection

MEDIA, Pa. -- For the third time this fall, Penn State Brandywine freshman Chris Riebman (Mt. Airy, Md./Linganore) was selected as the Penn State University Athletic Conference men's soccer player of the week on Tuesday.

In three games last week, Riebman collected a total of 15 points on six goals and three assists, helping Brandywine to a 3-0 mark against conference foes.

During the Lions' final contest of the week, a 7-1 victory at Mont Alto on Saturday, Riebman netted a career-high four goals. Three of those scores came during a seven-minute span early in the second half.

He also recorded two goals and a pair of assists in a road win at Penn State Schuylkill Thursday and added an assist in a triumph over Penn State York to begin the week.

Riebman, who owns a four-game scoring streak, is tied for the conference lead with 12 goals in 11 games this fall. He is also the league leader in total points with 27 and shots with 40.

Brandywine (8-3, 4-0 PSUAC) hosts Penn State Hazleton in a rematch of last season's PSUAC championship game on Wednesday at 2:00 pm.
