Brandywine Eases Past Wilkes-Barre 10-0

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine opened up a 3-0 halftime lead and tacked on seven more scores in the second half as the Lions claimed a 10-0 Penn State University Athletic Conference men's soccer victory Saturday afternoon.

Brandywine's defense posted its fourth-straight shutout and did not allow a shot on goal for the second consecutive match. Goalkeeper Zachary Ritz (Woodlyn, Pa./Ridley) continued his shutout streak as he did not face a shot in 90 minutes of action and still has not yielded a goal in five appearances this fall.

Seven different Lions got in the scoring column on Saturday. Luke Segner (Cochranville, Pa./Octorara) topped all scorers with three goals and one assist, while Nikola Radulovic (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Harriton) netted a pair of goals.

Axel Ayllon-Ortiz (Kennett Square, Pa./Kennett), Alex Lopez (Toughkenamon, Pa./Kennett) and Gavin Birch (Media, Pa./Strath Haven) all registered one goal and one assist. Ian Roland (Aston, Pa./Sun Valley) and Dom Scrivano (Essington, Pa./Interboro) each tallied a goal, while Nathan Bowman (York, Pa./York Suburban) handed out two assists.

Brandywine (7-4-1, 4-0 PSUAC) plays its third game in four days Monday at Wilson College (4:00 pm).
