Brandywine Men's Soccer Welcomes Majid Kawa

MEDIA, Pa. -- Majid Kawa has signed to continue his education at Penn State Brandywine and his athletic career with the Lions' men's soccer team this fall.

Kawa played three years of soccer at nearby Upper Darby High School. At Upper Darby, Kawa was selected as the team's most valuable player and defensive player of the year. He earned All-Central League and All-Delco honorable mention laurels, while twice claiming state player of the year honorable mention.

Kawa also served as team captain of his club team, Philadelphia Lone Star U19, and was named the squad's top defender.

Kawa chose to attend Penn State Brandywine "because I felt more comfortable with the school. I like the athletics and coaching staffs and I feel safe there."

Joining Kawa in the Penn State Brandywine men's soccer class of 2024 are Joey Kane, Dylan Mhloyi, Kareem Sharaf, John Simpson and Alex Sydor
