Tommy Wenger Joins Brandywine Men's Soccer Program

MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine men's soccer team officially welcomed Tommy Wenger, who will compete for the Lions as a freshman this fall.

Wenger, a three-year starter on the boys soccer team at Marple Newtown High School, earned Central League honorable mention laurels as a senior. Wenger, a two-year team captain, was named to the honor roll all four years during his high school career. He also competed for Unity FC, one of the top club teams in the United States.

Wenger chose to continue his education and soccer career at Penn State Brandywine because "it was so close to home as well as a top program to continue my athletic career".

Head Coach Tom Greenawalt's newcomers now include Wenger, Joey Kane, Majid Kawa, Dylan Mhloyi, Kareem Sharaf, John Simpson and Alex Sydor
