Cleary Runs At Chester Quarry Classic

CHESTER, Pa. -- Freshman Brendan Cleary (Chadds Ford, Pa./Garnet Valley) represented the Penn State Brandywine track & field team on Saturday at the Chester Quarry Classic hosted by Widener University.

Cleary competed in the 5,000-meter race, posting a top-10 finish as his time of 20:39.20 was eighth fastest. Cleary has now recorded two top-10 showings at 5,000 meters this spring after claiming ninth two weeks ago at Ursinus.

Brandywine will be back in Chester next weekend for the two-day Widener Invitational beginning Friday.
