Penn State Brandywine celebrated their only senior, Shari Harper Tuesday night before their game against Penn State York. Harper has played for Coach Johnson for the past four years at Brandywine and has been an All-Conference player as well as Academic All-Conference member.
As a team captain Harper has pushed her team to league championships as well as 2011 PSUAC champions. Shari has reached many goals, one of the biggest being an 1,000 point scorer in her four years at Penn State. She will be added to the few who have reached this achievement and soon have a banner hanging from the rafters of her home court.
In last night's game Harper collected 14 points and 17 rebounds in the final regular season game of her career.
Bobbi Caprice led Brandywine with 18 points. Amanda Congialdi and Brandy Flowers both had double-doubles. Congialdi finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Flowers had 12 points and 10 boards.
