The Lady Lions started strong but were unable to hold off PS Scranton.

Forward Lauren Munro headed the charge against Penn State Scranton with 24 points and three steals in Brandywine's loss on the road Friday night. The Lady Lions started strong and lead the first half 38-29 but were unable to hold on as Scranton came out of the half to outscore them by 15 points in the second half. Penn State Scranton took the game 89-83.

Amanda Congialdi recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards. Myeisha Matos chipped in 14 points, four assists and nine rebounds to the Brandywine Lions totals.

The Lady Lions face off in non-league competition Monday night against Bryn Mawr College at 7 PM. Conference play resumes Friday, January 31 on their home court at 6 PM against PS DuBois.
