WASHINGTON, D.C. -- All 12 players who saw action scored at least one point during the Penn State Brandywine women's basketball team's 64-43, non-conference victory at Trinity University (D.C.) on Monday night.

Brandi James (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro), Crystal Miller (Pleasant Valley, N.Y./Arlington) and Kendra Stanford (Philadelphia, Pa./William Bodine) led the way offensively by netting 10 points each. Madison D'Ambrosio (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) added eight points, while Ginamarie McNamee (Aston, Pa./Interboro) tallied seven points.

Brandywine limited Trinity to 24 percent shooting and forced 27 turnovers. Stanford collected five steals, while McNamee recorded four thefts.

James was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards, while Nicolette Napoleon (Springfield, Pa./Penn Charter) recorded nine rebounds and Miller pulled in six. Napoleon also handed out a team-best four assists.

The Lions ran out to a 12-2 lead through seven minutes and, after holding the Tigers to one basket in a seven-minute span, had extended the margin to 27-11 with three minutes to go before halftime.

Trinity scored eight of the final 12 points prior to intermission and closed within eight points early in the second half; however, Brandywine seized control of the game behind a 28-5 surge spanning the next 13 minutes. Alyssa Abbonizio's (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) jumper with 5:31 to play gave the Lions their biggest lead of the night at 59-28.

Brandywine (13-5, 8-0 PSUAC) plays its final non-conference game of the season on Thursday night at the University of Valley Forge (7:00 pm).
