D’Ambrosio Earns PSUAC Player Of The Week

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine senior Madison D'Ambrosio (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) landed the final Penn State University Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honor of the fall semester on Tuesday.

D'Ambrosio averaged 10.0 points and 10.7 rebounds during a 3-0 week for the Lions and produced double-doubles during both of Brandywine's PSUAC victories.

She tallied identical stat lines with 10 points and 12 boards during triumphs at Schuylkill and against Wilkes-Barre. In addition, D'Ambrosio collected 10 points, eight rebounds and two steals versus Bryn Mawr on Wednesday.

Through 11 games, D'Ambrosio is the team's third-leading scorer, averaging 11.2 points per game, and top rebounder (7.1 rpg). D'Ambrosio is also shooting nearly 91 percent (20-22) at the free throw line, good for second in the league, while adding 25 assists and nine steals.

Brandywine, winner of six-straight games, is idle until January 6 when the Lions visit Immaculata.
