Brianna Banks Named PSUAC Women’s Soccer Player Of The Week

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Following a three-goal game at Wesley on Wednesday, Penn State Brandywine junior Brianna Banks (Philadelphia, Pa./Parkway Center) was selected as the Penn State University Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the seventh time during her career.

Banks scored each of the Lions' three goals during the 4-3 setback against the Wolverines, her first scores of the season. Each goal tied the match after Wesley had taken one-score leads.

The hat trick was the eighth of Banks' three-year career at Brandywine. She is Brandywine's all-time leading goal scorer, having netted 53 goals over 31 career matches. The two-time USCAA First Team All-American and PSUAC Player of the Year reached 100 career points in less than two seasons and has tallied 119 points (53G, 13A) overall.

Brandywine (0-2) is on the road Saturday at Cabrini beginning at noon.
