SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. -- For the third-straight year, the Penn State Brandywine women's soccer team has completed an undefeated conference slate during the regular season as the Lions cruised past Penn State Schuylkill 9-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Brandywine, which has won two-straight Penn State University Athletic Conference championships, will be the No. 1 seed when the PSUAC Tournament starts on Oct. 27. The Lions will host the No. 4 seed in a semifinal match after closing out the regular season with three consecutive non-conference matches during the next two weeks.

Eight different players registered a point, topped by a three-goal, two-assist effort from Brianna Banks (Philadelphia, Pa./Parkway Center). Emily Jefferson (Sparta, N.J./Pope John XXIII Regional) added two goals, while Arianna Segich (Ocean City, N.J./Ocean City) contributed a goal and two assists.

Angelina Maroulis (Brookhaven, Pa./Sun Valley) and Mariah Pierce (Philadelphia, Pa./Kensington Health Sciences Academy) both delivered a goal and an assist.

Brandywine outshot Schuylkill 28-1 and did not allow a shot on goal for its fifth shutout in six conference matches.

Banks and Maroulis both netted goals during the match's first two minutes and Brandywine continued to pile on, scoring five more times in the half for a 7-0 lead after 45 minutes. Banks completed her hat trick in the 54th minute and Segich capped the scoring 13 minutes later.
