Banks Earns National Player Of The Week; Bush Honored By PSUAC

MEDIA, Pa. -- A pair of Penn State Brandywine women's soccer seniors were honored as players of the week as Brianna Banks (Philadelphia, Pa./Parkway Center) landed USCAA Player of the Week laurels and Emily Bush (Bayville, N.J./Central Regional) was tabbed as the PSUAC Goalkeeper of the Week on Tuesday.

Banks reached another milestone one day earlier, scoring the 100th goal of her four-year career in a 5-1 victory over Lancaster Bible. She scored three of the Lions' five goals during the match and has found the back of the net at least three times in five-straight matches.

Banks, who scored also scored five times in a win over Scranton last week, leads all USCAA women's soccer players with 21 goals and 43 total points. Earlier this season, the three-time all-American tallied the 200th point of her career. She currently owns 221 points (100G, 21A) in 55 matches.

Bush was the winning net minder during both of Brandywine's victories last week. She stopped the only shot she faced against Scranton to record her first shutout of the season and 17th of her career. During Monday's win over Lancaster Bible, Bush turned aside four shots on five chances.

Now an 11-time PSUAC Goalkeeper of the Week during her four-year career, Bush leads all PSUAC keepers with 64 saves in nine matches this fall. She also tops the league with three victories.

Brandywine (3-6, 2-0 PSUAC) faces Widener on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm looking for its fourth-straight win.
