Bush Named USCAA Goalkeeper Of The Week

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine senior Emily Bush (Bayville, N.J./Central Regional) was tabbed as the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Goalkeeper of the Week on Tuesday.

Bush went 2-0 with seven saves in goal during two matches last week. She made six of those stops in a 3-2 overtime victory over Penn State Hazleton on Wednesday. Three days later, Bush blocked one shot in just over 83 minutes of action to combine on her third shutout of the year as Brandywine bested Penn State Beaver 4-0.

During 13 starts this fall, Bush owns six victories, a PSUAC-high total, and ranks second in the conference with 92 saves and three shutouts. With wins in the team's final two regular-season matches, Bush would reach 40 victories during her four-year career.

Brandywine (6-7, 4-0 PSUAC) plays Penn State Lehigh Valley at 11:30 am on Wednesday needing a win to clinch the PSUAC regular-season title.
