MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine women's soccer team celebrated Senior Day with a 5-0 blanking of Penn State Beaver on Saturday afternoon.

With the victory, Brandywine has officially secured a PSUAC Tournament bid for the sixth-straight season as the Lions upped their conference mark to 3-4 with one league game remaining.

The team's lone senior, Meltem Ozdemir (Carney's Point, N.J./St. Mark's) contributed a goal and an assist during her final regular-season home match.

Olivia Esposito (Boothwyn, Pa./Chichester) found the back of the net twice, while Jess James (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) and Jolyn Walleekendeh (Trainer, Pa./Chichester) also contributed goals for the Lions.

James delivered the first half's only goal at the 23:23 mark. Thirteen minutes into the second half, Brandywine doubled the lead as Esposito followed her own rebound and registered a tally.

Walleekendeh made the score 3-0 just under 10 minutes later. Esposito and Ozdemir capped off the scoring with goals separated by just 2:18 with less than five minutes remaining.

Brandywine held a 39-1 edge in the shot column and recorded 29 of its shots after halftime. Kiiani Banks (Elizabeth, N.J./Elizabeth) stopped the only shot she faced to record her third shutout of the season.
