Brandywine Drops Second-Straight At Cedar Crest
ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Penn State Brandywine women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss at Cedar Crest on Saturday afternoon, its second consecutive defeat to begin the season.
Katie Corey (Lansdowne, Pa./Agora Cyber Charter) won five games during her No. 1 singles match, but dropped a 6-1, 6-4 decision . Vidya Nayak (Exton, Pa./West Chester East) and Jaemi Hammond (Media, Pa./Zama American) both collected two points during their singles bouts.
In doubles action, Corey and Nayak were narrowly edged by the Falcons, falling 8-6, during their top-flight match.
Brandywine visits Kean on Friday at 4:00 pm.
