MEDIA, Pa. -- Cairn University dealt Penn State Brandywine a women's tennis defeat by a 9-0 score on Wednesday afternoon on the Lions' home courts.

Stephanie Bryan (Drexel Hill, Pa./Ridley) played the match of the day, falling in a first set tiebreaker 7-6, before dropping the No. 1 singles match following a 6-3 second frame.

Katie Corey (Lansdowne, Pa./Agora Cyber Charter) posted five points during her No. 2 singles bout, but was knocked off 6-2, 6-3, while Katrina Persaud (West Chester, Pa./Intl. Berckley School) claimed four points at No. 5 singles.

Brandywine plays its final match of the spring on Friday at home against the College of St. Elizabeth beginning at 3:00 PM.
