Brandywine Volleyball makes first ever appearance in the PSUAC Final Four

Brandywine volleyball traveled to University Park October 28 to play in the semi-finals of the PSUAC against Penn College. With plenty of nerves Brandywine came out to a slow start in game one, dropping the set 25-10. Brandywine fought back in set two with more energy and intensity but still fell short 23-25; then in set three put it all together to take a game from league rival Penn College 25-18. With playoff nerves still running strong, the Lady Lions of Penn State Brandywine fell flat again in set four to a final loss of 3-1 in the semi-finals of the PSUAC.

Head coach Melissa Algeo said, "It was a great advancement for the team and for Penn State Brandywine Volleyball. I couldn't be more excited and thrilled that we made it to the final four for the first time in Brandywine athletics history. It makes the volleyball coaching staff more excited than ever to recruit and train harder for next season. The girls, although sad about losing a winable game, are ready to get back on the court and head to 2013."
