Brandywine bests Rosemont in home opener in three sets.

The squad of 17 united in their home gym Wednesday night to walk away with a victory in their home opener over Rosemont College 25-9, 25-13, 25-20. Coming off a tough first match on Saturday against Delaware Valley College the Lady Lions of Brandywine needed to regain momentum and composure; they did just that during their matchup this evening.

All 17 members were able to see court time and assist Brandywine to their first victory of the season. Kimi Garndiner (Radnor) lead the team behind the service line with seven aces. Kim Russo (WC East) produced ten digs while Amanda Rasley (Springfield) fired up the front row with five kills. Senior Captain Kate Cowan (Upper Darby) added 14 assists.

The squad hits the road tomorrow in their next match against Bryn Mawr College.
