The volleyball Lady Lions win conference opener on Sunday, September 14 against Penn State Hazleton.
After a two hour bus ride the Lady Lions came out flat and fell 21-25 in game one of their league opener against Halzeton this past Sunday. Once the haze cleared Brandywine was able to battle back in the next three sets (25-15, 25-17, 27-25) to defeat PSU Hazleton 3-1.
Sophomore middle Nicole Costa totaled 20 kills in the match. Sophomore setter Miranda Biondi added 27 assists and libero Kim Russo four aces and three digs.
Brandywine faces non-league PSU Abington this Wednesday night on their home court at 7 PM.
