Penn State Brandywine fell to Albright College 3-1 Thursday night on their home court. The match was a constent back and forth battle with the momentum switching sides often. Libero Kim Russo lead the team with 17 digs, followed by Kelsi Wiest who added 13. The Lions backrow was the heart of the team tonight and tried to uplift their hitters with a steady stream of great passes and block coverage. Nicole Costa led the Lions with 13 kills and two aces. Emily Battista added eight kills and ten digs.

The Brandywine Lady Lions head into the weekend confident. They will be hosting their third annual Dig Pink event where all proceeds go to The Side-Out Foundation to support and raise money for breast cancer research. They will be hosting three PSUAC teams (Hazleton, Penn College and Schuylkill) in four matches. Two courts will be live starting at noon, second matches starting at 2 PM.
