The Penn State Brandywine Lady Lions suffered a tough five game loss to Bryn Athyn College last night in a match that came down to a few points each set: 25-17, 30-28, 21-25, 25-17, 12-15.
Sophomore middle hitter Nicole Costa led the Lions with 20 kills, three blocks and two service aces. Kim Russo contributed 40 digs and two aces while Emily Battista had 21 digs, four kills and four assists. They look to the remainder of the conference season and face PS York Thursday and PS Mont Alto Saturday in hopes of clinching the number two seed in the PSUAC.
