Volleyball Hosts Dig Pink This Weekend

MEDIA, Pa. -- For the sixth year in a row, Penn State Brandywine has partnered with the Side-Out Foundation to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research during its Dig Pink Rally on Sept. 17-18. Brandywine will be hosting PSUAC quad matches beginning at 2:00 pm on Saturday and 12:00 pm on Sunday.

In 2015, the volleyball team raised $1,275 for the Side-Out Foundation and this year, the Lions have set their fundraising goal at $1,500. Brandywine will be selling Dig Pink t-shirts throughout the weekend for $10. Shirts may be purchased at the door or by contacting Head Coach Melissa Algeo (mhl13@psu.edu).

The Side-Out Foundation awards grants to medical research organizations and entities dedicated to providing patient services to breast cancer patients and their families. Your participation gives the volleyball community the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of all breast cancer patients.
