PSUAC Names Poissant Player Of The Week

MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State University Athletic Conference selected Penn State Brandywine junior Nikki Poissant (Aston, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) as its volleyball player of the week on Tuesday.

Poissant set career highs with 18 kills and 23 digs during a thrilling, five-set victory at Penn State Mont Alto on Tuesday, helping Brandywine remain undefeated in PSUAC play at 5-0. She added two more double-figure dig performances on Saturday with 11 against Rutgers-Camden and 17 versus Wilkes, while totaling 15 kills during those matches.

Overall last week, she accumulated 51 digs, 33 kills and two aces.

Poissant, a two-time all-PSUAC performer, leads the conference in kills (155) and aces (41), while ranking third in digs (173).

Brandywine (10-4, 5-0 PSUAC) hosts Penn State Schuylkill on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm.
