Brandywine Completes Season Sweep Of Lehigh Valley

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine volleyball team defeated Penn State Lehigh Valley 3-0 for the second time in as many meetings this season, winning by scores of 26-24, 25-18, 25-13 on Tuesday night.

On the same day she was named USCAA Setter of the Week, Sullivan Stark (Middletown, Del./William Penn) handed out 35 assists to go along with five digs and a pair of blocks.

Nikki Poissant (Aston, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) posted team highs with 14 kills and 22 digs, while Halee Kusner (Aston, Pa./Sun Valley) registered nine kills and two blocks and Becca Civera (Boothwyn, Pa./Chichester) added seven kills and 17 digs.

Emily Battista (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) collected 14 digs defensively, while Kelsey Zober (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) recorded 10 digs. Rikelle Taylor (Nottingham, Pa./Solanco) produced a team-best five blocks. Brandywine recorded 14 blocks overall, a season high.

Brandywine (15-5, 10-1 PSUAC) visits Bryn Athyn Thursday night at 7:00 pm having already defeated the Lions 3-1 at home earlier this fall.
