Brandywine Volleyball Hosts Eighth-Annual Dig Pink Weekend October 6-7

MEDIA, Pa. -- For the eighth consecutive year, the Penn State Brandywine volleyball team will host Dig Pink Weekend, its annual event raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research through a partnership with the Side-Out Foundation.

The team is asking fans to donate through "Digs for Dig Pink". You may choose a player and pledge a dollar amount to donate per dig recorded in a match (or matches) of your choosing. There is also the option to donate a flat amount to the Side-Out Foundation.

Donations can also be made directly through Brandywine's page on the Side-Out Foundation web site: https://giving.side-out.org/campaigns/14664#/. Brandywine's goal this year is to raise $500 for breast cancer awareness.

Brandywine will play four matches on its home court Saturday to begin the weekend, facing Moravian, Pratt and Penn State Wilkes Barre (twice). On Sunday, the Lions close out Dig Pink Weekend with matches against Marywood and Cedar Crest.
