The second annual Penn State Brandywine Cross Country Invitational was an extrememly successful event.

Nine colleges and universities came to compete in a women's 5K and men's 8K run on Brandywine's campus. In the women's race, Penn State Brandywine was led by Kelly Choi, whose ninth place finish helped pace her teammates - Kayla Csizmazia, Meghan Mooney and Katelyn Kulakowski to a third place in team standings.

In the men's 8K, Mike Puhl, a Penn State freshman, was the Invitational Champion in a time of 30:48 over a very tough course on his home campus. He led his teammates, Alex Rivera (6), Jimmy Payne (13), Ben Grasso (22), Andre Smith (23) and Chris Bernstein (24) to a third place team finish against strong teams from Rutgers-Newark and Valley Forge Military Academy.
