Bio

Spencer Sheely, MS, LAT, ATC, PES, joined the Novacare and Penn State Brandywine sports medicine staff prior to the beginning of the 2018-19 academic year. He handles sports medicine duties for all 16 of Penn State Brandywine's varsity sports.

Sheely is a 2017 graduate of Penn State Unviersity with a degree in athletic training. He completed his master's degree in the same field at California University of Pennsylvania in 2018, while serving as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the football team.

During his time at Penn State, Sheely worked as an undergraduate trainer for the football, men's and women's gymnastics, men's and women's swimming and diving and men's and women's track and field/cross country squads. He also handled intramural sports and served as a teaching assistant in athletic training.

Sheely earned his board certification and Pennsylvania state athletic training license in 2017 and has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association and Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers' Association since 2014.
