PSUAC Names Tindley Player Of The Week

MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State University Athletic Conference announced on Tuesday that Penn State Brandywine freshman guard Rob Tindley (Lawnside, N.J./Haddon Heights) has been selected as the league's men's basketball player of the week.

Tindley aided Brandywine in a pair of victories last week, averaging 21.0 points, 2.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game. He shot 50 percent from the field, including making seven three-pointers on 15 attempts.

On Tuesday, Tindley poured in 26 points and added four assists and four rebounds during a 90-83 triumph at Penn State Abington. He added 16 points in 18 minutes of action at Valley Forge in the Lions' 76-72 victory on Sunday.

Through four games, Tindley is averaging 10.5 points per game and shooting 44 percent from the field.

Brandywine (2-2) visits Penn State Schuylkill on Tuesday night in its PSUAC opener.
