He hit the 1,000-point mark with a free throw at the 5:00 mark of the first half, his eighth point of the evening.

Gallagher finished his four-year career with 843 points after scoring 445 markers this winter.

Mont Alto owned a seven-point edge at halftime and opened up a 16-point lead with 12:15 to play.

Brandywine battled back against the top team in the PSUAC, narrowing the margin to six following back-to-back baskets from Gallagher, capping a 12-2 surge.

The hosts answered with five-straight points and maintained a double-figure advantage until the final minute. Barrouk buried a triple and Jordan Graves (Media, Pa./Strath Haven) converted a three-point play to trim the deficit to 83-76 with 57 seconds left, but Mont Alto knocked down seven-of-eight free throws during the final minute to secure the victory.

Brandywine shot 42 percent from the field and connected on nine three-pointers, but made just 14-of-24 free throws. Mont Alto placed four players in double figures, paced by JR Powe's 21 points, and held a 53-34 rebounding advantage.
