Men's Basketball Welcomes Jamar Wright

MEDIA, Pa. -- Jamar Wright became the latest student-athlete to officially sign with the Penn State Brandywine men's basketball team recently. 

Wright earned three varsity letters as a member of the Conrad School of Science boys basketball team in Wilmington. As a senior, he earned first team all-conference honors and received the Shane Grant Outstanding Offensive Player award, while serving as team captain. In addition, he claimed the 2019 Coach's Award.

Wright was also successful in the classroom as he was a honor roll student and a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.

Wright chose to attend Penn State Brandywine because "I have always wanted to attend Penn State. Penn State Brandywine is close to home and I feel that it would be a good fit for me."

Joining Wright in the Brandywine men's basketball class of 2024 are Izayiah Adams, Colin Hockenbrock and Sincere Wilson.
