Brandywine Routs Wilkes-Barre; Six Lions Have Multi-Goal Games

MEDIA, Pa. -- Six players scored at least twice during Penn State Brandywine's 13-1 victory over Penn State Wilkes-Barre in Penn State University Athletic Conference men's soccer action on Saturday afternoon.

Evan Roland (Aston, Pa./Sun Valley) led the charge by scoring three times, while Brandon Crochunis (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East), Ronaldo Calle (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville), Mohamed Camara (Drexel Hill, Pa./Upper Darby), Daniel Willie (Upper Darby, Pa./Upper Darby) and Khafren Smith (Philadelphia, Pa./Science Leadership Academy) all netted two goals.

Smith and Rajbir Lohat (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) both collected a pair of assists.

Brandywine led 8-1 at the half and tacked on five more goals during the final stanza. The Lions outshot Wilkes-Barre 44-4.

Lions' goalkeepers Brandon Welden (Essington, Pa./Interboro) and Jared Sebzda (Warminster, Pa./William Tennett) split time in goal, each playing one half. Welden stopped two shots, while Sebzda blocked one during a scoreless second half.

Brandywine, which has now won 30 consecutive conference matches, has outscored its PSUAC opponents 35-1 in winning all four of its league matches this fall.

Brandywine (6-2-2, 4-0 PSUAC) is back at home Sunday for a 1:00 PM matinee against Penn State Mont Alto.
