Men's Soccer Signs William Malawi
MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine men's soccer team added another member to its recruiting class with the signing of William Malawi.
Malawi was a four-year member of the boys soccer team at Parkland High School. A two-year captain, Malawi was named the team's most valuable player as its leading scorer, while helping Parkland to a state semifinal appearance.
Malawi chose to attend Penn State Brandywine because "I felt welcomed here.The coach and the recruiting coordinator have been very supportive through the recruiting journey. In addition, the school has a very good academic and athletic reputation."
Malawi joins an incoming men's soccer class that includes Jake Carew, John Holstein, Joey Kane, Majid Kawa, Jeffrey Kuser, Amadou Mangara, Dylan Mhloyi, Kyle Reuter, Logan Roland, Kareem Sharaf, John Simpson, Alex Sydor, Tommy Wenger, Nick Wolhafe and Chris Zavala.
