Brandywine Drops 7-2 Decision In Season Opener

READING, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine men's tennis team fell in its season opener on Tuesday, dropping a 7-2 decision at Albright College.

Both of Brandywine's points came from singles action after Albright swept through three doubles matches.

Aggam Khurana (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) posted a straight-set victory during his second-flight singles bout by scores of 6-3, 6-1. At No. 3 singles, Luke DeAngelis (Downingtown, Pa./Henderson) notched a come-from-behind, three-set triumph. After dropping the first set 3-6, DeAngelis evened the match at one set each by winning the second period 7-5. He finished off the match with an 11-9 victory during the third set.
