USCAA Honors Gledhill On National Academic Team

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine women's basketball senior Chrissy Gledhill (Secane, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) was named to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Academic Team for the third consecutive season on Tuesday.

The USCAA All-Academic Team is awarded to student-athletes who have accumulated a minimum GPA of 3.50 and reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at their institution.

A human development and family studies major, Gledhill owns a 3.73 grade-point average. She is also a three-time honoree on the Penn State University Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.

During her 95-game career, Gledhill has averaged 5.2 points per game and buried 92 three-pointers. This winter she scored 7.2 points per outing, helping Brandywine win its second-straight conference championship.

Brandywine (21-6) faces Warren Wilson on Thursday night at 7:30 pm in the quarterfinals of the USCAA Tournament in Uniontown, Pa.
