2022 Penn State Brandywine graduate Meltem Ozdemir began her first season as an assistant coach at her alma mater in 2022.

During her four-year playing career, Ozdemir was a two-time First Team All-PSUAC midfielder who earned all-American honorable mention as a senior. In 46 matches spanning three seasons, Ozdemir accounted for 10 goals and 10 assists as a midfielder.

As a freshman, Ozdemir started 11 games for the Lions, helping the team reach the USCAA National Championship. She won PSUAC titles in back-to-back seasons at Brandywine in 2018 and 2019.

Ozdemir graduated from Brandywine with a degree in biology and is currently pursuing a doctor of pharmacy degree at Temple University.
