Lions Downed At Home By Immaculata
MEDIA, Pa. -- Immaculata University swept all nine matches to defeat the Penn State Brandywine women's tennis team 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon.
The Mighty Macs yielded just four points in three doubles matches and then claimed all six singles bouts.
Breana Kerr (Folcroft, Pa.) won four points during her No. 4 singles matchup, but fell 6-1, 6-3, while Katie Corey (Lansdowne, Pa./Agora Cyber Charter) earned three points at No. 2, dropping a 6-0, 6-3 decision.
Rachel Weir (Neptune City, N.J./Red Bank Regional) and Vidya Nayak (Exton, Pa./West Chester East) each claimed a pair of points during their singles matches.
Brandywine (0-3) is back at home Thursday for a match against Delaware Valley beginning at 2:00 pm.
