PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine was victorious during its regular-season volleyball finale on Monday night, defeating the University of Valley Forge 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-23) on the road.
Nicolette Napoleon (Springfield, Pa./Penn Charter) tallied 11 kills and 14 digs, while Julia Miles (Boothwyn, Pa./Chichester) dished out 10 assists and added 17 digs.
Becca Civera (Boothwyn, Pa./Chichester) collected 29 digs, five assists and two aces. Also reaching double figures in digs was Sydney Stevens (Wilmington, Del./Alexis I. DuPont), who recorded 19, along with six aces.
Brandywine (16-14, 12-0 PSUAC) will now set its sights on winning a second-straight PSUAC championship. The Lions, the No. 1 seed from the PSUAC East Division, host No. 4 Penn State Lehigh Valley on Wednesday night in a tournament quarterfinal matchup.
